Animator / Motion Designer, Unexplainable (Part-time, Temporary)

About This Role

<p>Vox is looking for an innovative animator and motion designer to join Unexplainable, to help conceptualize and create a fresh visual look for Vox’s Unexplainable video podcast. Currently an audio-only podcast, this person will work closely with the Unexplainable team and Vox’s Art Director to develop a playful visual look and graphics package for the video version of the show, creating graphics and animations&nbsp; for each week’s episode.&nbsp;</p> <p>They will have professional expertise using Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Strong editorial judgement, superb communication skills, impeccable organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail are critical for this role, as you will work closely with editorial leadership, video producers, and freelancers to elevate our storytelling through compelling design and motion graphics while maintaining Vox style and standards.&nbsp;</p> <p>This person will be a self starter a
